Funny thing about these horse,
or should I say my horse? This horsing adventure took place the day before
I had to register for high school as a freshman. That shouldn't be too
tough, right? I mean, after all, I have a few hours on horse back and
think I know how to ride. It was a beautiful day and we are out in the
fields galloping along. We come into the yard and just as we are ready to
ride across the gravel drive my horse decides to put on the breaks. He
stops Not just a slow leisurely stop but a full out dead stop. Of course
physics being what they are, we all know that an object in motion and all
that stuff. I don't stop. I go sailing over the horses head and skid
across the gravel drive on my chin. Ouch! I actually considered wearing a
paper bag over my head the next day. |

With a little makeup and nice
pout, I was able to hide the scraped up chin from my adventure on the
horse. |
