| Ok, so I am single and love my cats! Louie is an outdoor cat during the warm months. During the winter he prefers to be an indoor cat. Usually some time in November he will grant me a quick head in the door. As the weather gets cooler he comes in a little further and stays a little longer. For the first 3-4 weeks he and Who get into a lot of cat fights. By time Christmas rolls around they are best friends. I love them both but Louie will always have a special place in my heart. He was abandoned out in the country before Christmas during my last year of marriage. When I first saw him he was at the front door rubbing his body on the door and window. I opened the door and he walked in past my two dogs. He had no fear of the dogs. When my ex saw him he said I could not have him. What I actually heard him say was that he was an asshole and he ruled the house. Louie was my first independent act after more than 23 years of marriage. Louie was my side-kick through my eventual divorce and first move into my new head of household status. Louie is now somewhere around eleven years old and showing his age. He has a heart murmur and last year developed a blood bubble in his ear. His ear looked like a balloon and required surgery. | |||
